Brioso is an intermediate choir directed by Melissa Keylock and accompanied by Anna Juliar. Entrance to Brioso is determined by a 15 minute friendly placement audition in which singers demonstrate their ability to match pitch and show independence on a vocal part. Members learn to sing in two and easy three part harmony, while solidifying their vocal tone, breath support, music reading skills, diction, and stage presence. Brioso performs at area music festivals, community outreach performances, the Encinitas Tree Lighting event, San Diego Sings at Balboa Park, special events, along with our winter and spring home concerts.
