Anna Juliar

Born in Archangelsk, Russia, Anna Juliar graduated from Archangelsk Music College with degrees in Piano Teaching and Accompanying in 1997. Anna then graduated from The Russian State Pedagogical University (in St. Petersburg) with a degree in Music Education in 2002. While in school, she won numerous awards and recognition for excellence in ensemble performance Anna was the district accompanist for the Niskayuna School District in New York until 2009. Anna has also toured through Europe with the Sound of America Band and Chorus from 2006-2010 and was the principal accompanist for Albany Pro Musica from 2010- 2011. Anna has been an accompanist for the North Coast Singers since 2014. She taught piano for several years in Russia and continues to give private piano lessons and work as an accompanist in the U.S., where she has lived with her husband since 2004. She has two sons and loves organic gardening.
