Brioso (with vigor and spirit) is a 30 voice intermediate choir directed by Sally Husch Dean and accompanied by Anna Juliar.
The singers are known for their lively spirit and incredible curiosity. Entrance to Brioso is determined by a placement audition in which they demonstrate their ability to match pitch and show independence on a vocal part. Members learn to sing in two and three part harmony. They are given techniques to improve and strengthen their vocal tone quality, and are taught skills in music reading. Brioso has sung at several regional music festivals and community outreach performances.
